We had a great day. The weather was too choppy to go outside the reef and do deep-sea fishing as we had planned, but the captain made a quick switch of plans, and we had a fun day in the bay trolling. Had a lot of fun with the barracuda! Most important thing is that the captain is a great guy, and a good person to fish with. If I come back this way again, I will certainly book another trip.

A few of us went out with Captain Super C. His boat was an inboard motor setup which made it much easier to get around and have cover from the sun. We trolled for blackfin tuna and got 5 bites, pulled in 3 fish.. well 2.5 since the tax man took his share. We heard that other charters struck out that day. The captain cleaned our fish and we used the guts to hand line tarpons at the dock. We managed to pull in a 3 ft tarpon which made the trip ever more memorable. When we got back to our hotel, we asked a local chef to prepare our tuna for us. He baked it for us as well as served up sashimi style with all the sides. We stayed at The Locale and they treated us like family. The hospitality of the island is unmatched. The Grand Caymans was our most memorable trip and we look forward to coming back!

Captain Cachas is a original Caymanian. Had great conversation with him about the culture here in the Caymans. He knows the spots and where to fish them. Was slow but our charter started mid day. Once the sun went down the fish started to bite. We caught a Tuna and a Wahoo within minutes apart and lost (the one that got away;) a very large fish that I could barely hold onto the pole for. I recommend going early in the day or starting a tour in the evening. Mid day fishing is always a crapshoot. Overall Happy with him and the bot. He fileted our catch and took to Morgan's and we ate the best fish of our lives! Did not disappoint!

My son and I had a fantastic afternoon fishing and swimming with stingrays. We wanted to target tarpon and swim with stingrays, and although it wasn’t one of his usual combo packages, Capt. C. happily accommodated our request. His fishing skills are matched only by his great personality!

Today's trip was a great experience. I went out solo on the 4-hour afternoon deep sea fishing trip, and the boat was the perfect size. The captain began by sharing information about the fishing spots and reefs, and the day ended with catching several different fish. The start was slow, but by the end, we had enough to fill the box and filleted the catch afterward. I took home some tuna and rainbow runner. Thanks again!

If you want the best fishing experience in Grand Cayman, this is your guide—highly recommended. Friendly, knowledgeable, and most importantly, he gets you on the fish. The boat was comfortable and well equipped. When the weather looked bad on the day of our afternoon trip, he had no problem rescheduling to ensure we had the best experience. We booked reef fishing, and after mentioning we’d never caught triggerfish, he took us past the reef where we were hooked up quickly. Before the trip ended, he even took us to a beautiful reef to snorkel and dive for conch. Thanks again, Captain C!

C is the best. He truly cares about his guests and goes above and beyond to ensure a great experience. He took us fishing, visiting around 10 different spots in search of the perfect catch. He guided us every step of the way and helped us land our fish. He also steered us clear of the crowds and other tours. I’m already looking forward to coming back and fishing with C again!

Captain C took excellent care of us! We booked a 6-hour deep sea trip but let him know in advance we were fine switching plans if conditions weren’t ideal. After a slow start and little radio chatter from a nearby tournament, we switched to light tackle for yellowtail and parrotfish. We found them quickly, and once the bite started, we were hooked up every few minutes. Can’t say enough about Captain C’s laid-back style and great guidance.

There were four of us on this 6-hour morning trip, and it was fantastic. We got to fish, dive for conch and lobster, snorkel, and visit Stingray City—something everyone wanted to do. Our captain, a local, was excellent. I highly recommend this trip. We even grilled our fresh fish and lobster for dinner when we got back, and it was delicious! Thanks for an amazing day on the water!

We had a great fishing trip in Grand Cayman, even though the fish weren’t biting that day. Captain Bless and his crew, Dougie, went the extra mile to make it special. They dove for conches and showed us how to make fresh conch ceviche, which was a unique and tasty experience. Their skill, hospitality, and positive vibe made the trip one to remember. Highly recommend!

What an unforgettable, action-packed trip for my family. We took our 2-year-old and 6-year-old on Christmas morning. The weather was a bit cloudy and windy, but that didn’t stop us from having an amazing experience. We started at Stingray City, where the captain jumped in and caught a stingray for us to hold and watch. Next, we visited Starfish Island and saw at least 15 starfish in the shallow, kid-friendly water. Then we trolled and caught four barracudas. The captain asked if we wanted conch, dove down, and brought up four—my daughter kept one to clean later at the hotel. He also asked if we wanted to see a lobster, then dove and found a spiny lobster, which was very cool. On the way back to the dock, we trolled some more and caught another barracuda. An amazing trip—I highly recommend booking this charter!

Captain Cachas was fantastic! He met us right at the dock and ensured we were on the water exactly on time. He connected well with my 9-year-old son and gently prepared him for the possibility of not catching anything. But within five minutes of trolling, we caught our first barracuda, followed by a small tuna. This was exactly the kind of catch he had described before the trip. When the bite slowed, he switched tactics to look for triggerfish. When that didn’t work, we went back to trolling and caught a big barracuda and three more small tunas. Throughout the trip, he kept us engaged, shared stories about the island, and taught us about local fishing. The best part? As we returned, we saw that almost every other boat—some with bigger crews—had come up empty. We visit every two years, and I’ll definitely book with Captain Cachas again. I’ve already recommended him to two friends staying at our resort.
